So Skypia as an anime arc is rough it's a lot of filler, the reason it's so loved nowadays is because of what it shows us in retrospect. There is an obscene amount of world building and foreshadowing in that arc that's being paid off to this day. I never rewatch skypia, but I have reread it several times, and honestly, it's not a bad read.
